Anne Egley - Head Housekeeper

Previously to living in Scarborough, I lived and worked in Sheffield. We moved to Scarborough in 1992 and I immediately found work in the Crown Hotel, then a Forte Hotel, as a Room Attendant. I re-located to the Downe Arms in Wykham and stayed there for 5 years. I was a Room Attendant there as well, but soon got promoted to Function Supervisor. In 1998, we moved back into Scarborough Town and I began working for Chariet Hotels as a Room Attendant. Very quickly, I got promoted through the team, to my position as Head Housekeeper.

I am now firmly settled at the Crown Spa Hotel. I love my job and have a great team.

Since working here I have seen many positive changes in the hotel and strive to keep the bedrooms up to the high standards we set. I glad to be working in a leading 4 star hotel.

In my precious spare time I enjoy caravanning and walking with my partner and relaxing in the Crown Spa.
